This peridot and sterling silver charm necklace once lived another life – as an earring. It got separated from its mate, and was found in a snowbank. Its owner could not be found and it became two charm necklaces. This is one of them.
A faceted peridot-colored (pale green) gemstone is surrounded by a ball claw circular frame setting. It hangs from a sterling silver bail on a sterling silver 3-1 link chain.
Because it was upcycled from a found earring, I can’t say for sure what the peridot-colored bit is. The faceted gemstone is set with a ball claw setting that indicates it is likely handmade and well done at that.
The sterling chain closes with a spring ring and tag attachment.
The charm is about 3/8″ (10 mm) wide.
The length of the charm, including the bail, is 15 mm.
Length of chain: 18″
This listing is for the small round light green charm necklace. The larger blue-green triangular shaped charm is pictured only to show you what the found earring was turned into.
